Microsoft-Windows-WMI
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
After you install Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1), the WMI error is logged in the Application log. The solution can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/KB950375.
The "solution" .vbs script does not work on my computer. (Vista Ultimate SP1 64 bit) When I run this scrpt on my system it fails to complete and returns this error:
Line: 18
Char: 17
Error: Access Denied
Code: 80041003
Source: SWbemObjectEx
I still have these errors being logged in the Event Viewer. Wish that MS could provide a solution that actually works.
1) masking an error is not solving a problem, 2) having said that.. it's a matter of permission and I dont see how vista-home premium can be fixed, unless as M/S says -- next release.
