This event is usually logged on a domain controller when a user logs on with a valid username but invalid password. This particular event references a machine account as indicated by the dollar sign.

In order to find out why the event is logged, you should examine the "Failure Code" part of the event. This field contains the Kerberos error code as indicated in RFC 1510:

KDC_ERR_NONE 0 No error
KDC_ERR_NAME_EXP 1 Client's entry in database has expired
KDC_ERR_SERVICE_EXP 2 Server's entry in database has expired
