This event is logged by EventSentry because EventSentry is not able to connect to an SMTP Server.
Common problems are unavailable SMTP servers, firewalls that prevent access to the configured SMTP server and AntiVirus software that prevent outgoing connections to certain services.
EventSentry can be configured to send out emails through SMTP targets (aka as notifications). SMTP targets can be added by right-clicking on the notifications container and selecting "Add Target".
