7000Service Control ManagerThe PfModNT service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
PfModNT has something to do with Creative (Sound Blaster folks). I used to have a Sound Blaster card on this computer, but removed it a while ago. Apparently, this service was still active and trying to find a driver file in System32\Drivers named PfModNT.sys (which doesn't exist). Solution was to uninstall this PfModNT service.
